We just welcomed our little Juniper Prudence in February 2023! Pregnancy was a wild ride, birth was an empowering blur, and postpartum… well it was the pits. But we’re on the up and up now and loving exploring the world as a family of three.

My faith is important to me, though you’ll never find me pushing it on you or bringing it up unless you do first.
I laugh at every. single. “that’s what she said” joke my husband makes. They are terrible, but also perfect.
Striving to be authentic is what drives me. Showing our raw selves and expressing our full range of emotions opens up our ability to be truly known. Believe me when I say that I know that level of vulnerability is not easy… but it is so beautiful - and it’s also where my favorite art is created. I don’t take that kind of trust from my clients lightly, it’s an honor and one I want to carefully hold. So thank you for even considering creating that kind of raw art with me.
Photography has this incredible ability to help us process and reprocess events. I am here for all of it, for the highlights and for the messy bits: it’s all stunningly important because it’s what makes us human. I don’t know about you, but I’m really grateful to be human.
I am committed to supporting you in your birth, whatever form that may take. I’ll squeeze your hand as you get an epidural, dance with you as you encourage your baby down, walk endless laps around the hospital L&D floor, and remind you of the badass you are. Birth is often full of changing emotions, so having another persons continuous support and perspective makes all of the difference.
Your birth story matters. Your birth experience matters.
